Hi Teresa,
We have some locals/council in Washington who have started member-driven groups to connect with educators, parents and students around issues facing students/teachers of color. One of the groups, Rainier Educators of Color Network, has recieved an NEA grant and is doing some very exciting work in the community and local schools. I would be happy to connect you with them if you are interested.
